Dora and Maria Luisa together with Arturo, Roberto and Francesco have decided to deeply modify the original agricultural activity. Thus, in 1991, it has been decided to produce a fine wine which renewed the traditions of the noble vineyards of Campania.

The potential of the volcanic terrain descending towards the sea, together with Riccardo Cotarella, a respected wine maker with a particular interest in reviving and enhancing wines from southern Italy, brought about the birth, in 1994, of a product that aroused an incredible amount of excitement.

Since 1994 we, at GALARDI,  have often thought about giving birth to TERRA DI LAVORO ‘s brother, but we were first committed to complete the production programme, then, like many other companies, to contain the effects of the crisis. Time was passing by and it never seemed the right moment to turn thoughts into concrete actions.

Terra di Lavoro expresses its better result during hot seasons with scarse rain. The Terra di Lavoro 2010 and 2008 represent the best examples produced until today. The Terra di Lavoro is characterised by its long evolution that can reach over time.
